About the Role:

As a Datacenter (DC) Technician I at Microsoft Canada, you will play a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for our cloud services. This includes Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop an understanding of standard processes and procedures for preparing, installing, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, replacing, and/or decommissioning equipment.
  • Work under the guidance of more experienced Data Center colleagues to develop your skills and knowledge.
  • Familiarize yourself with security and data management procedures to ensure the integrity of our data centers.
  • Contribute to the development of our Data Center environment and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with a team of subject matter experts to support services for millions of customers and businesses worldwide.
