As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operations of the finance function for multiple properties.

Key responsibilities include:

* Weekly payroll processing in line with the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2010.
* Assisting the Cluster Financial Controller with financial forecasts and budget preparations.
* Completing end-of-month reports, P&L, forecasts, and other financial reports.
* Managing and processing accounts payable and receivable.
* Coaching and leading the finance team.
* Ensuring internal controls and maintaining credit limits.
* Assisting with audits related to financial standards and procedures.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Relevant tertiary qualification desirable, however not essential.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to effectively time manage large volume workloads, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure situations.
* Proven ability to train and coach team members.
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills - Excel, linked spreadsheets, and macros.
* Authentic customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, and be flexible in your approach to resolve issues.
* Experience using Opera (PMS) and SUN System would be advantageous.
