Job Title: Full Time Courier Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Courier Driver to join our team at our Nanaimo Package Facility. As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for daily package deliveries to our business and residential customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-trip checks of assigned vehicles to ensure safety during deliveries
  • Lift, sort, and move boxes weighing between 10 to 70lbs
  • Unload and load packages off and onto vehicles during drop-offs and pick-ups
  • Operate a DIAD system to navigate addresses and postal codes

Requirements:

  • Available to work Monday to Friday
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Customer service and/or driving experience is an asset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing, and outside environment
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions
  • Valid BC Class 5 driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to lift parcels weighing between 10lbs to 70lbs (32kg) unassisted
