Food Service Manager

At Cariboo Hotel, we are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our dining room.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to deliver exceptional service.
- Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform our business decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Establish work schedules to ensure that our team is well-equipped to meet the demands of our busy dining room.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
