Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at the Cariboo Hotel. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our dining room.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of food service staff, including preparation and portioning of food, to ensure efficient and effective service.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and service.
- Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner to maintain a positive dining experience.
- Reporting and Record Keeping: Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other relevant data to inform business decisions.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
Work Environment: This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English.
