Job Title: Licensed Massage Therapist

At Primo Healing Centre Ltd, we are seeking a skilled and experienced licensed massage therapist to join our team. As a licensed massage therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality massage therapy services to our clients, helping them to achieve their health and wellness goals.

Responsibilities:

* Assess clients' physical condition, medical history, and goals.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using various massage techniques and modalities.
* Provide therapeutic and relaxation massages to clients in a safe and comfortable manner.
* Monitor and evaluate clients' progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed.
* Educate and counsel clients on how to prevent or manage their condition, and recommend home care exercises and products.
* Maintain accurate and confidential records of client care and treatment.
* Keep up to date with the latest research and best practices in massage therapy.
* Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.

Requirements:

* Diploma or certificate in massage therapy from an accredited institution.
* Valid license to practice as a registered massage therapist in the province of Alberta, Canada.
* City of Calgary Massage Practitioner license.
* Liability Insurance that meets or exceeds the minimum standard.
* Proficient in various massage techniques and modalities, such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, etc.
* Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and kinesiology.
* Ability to perform physical assessments and apply appropriate pressure.
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients and other health care providers.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong ethical and professional conduct.
* Empathetic and client-centered approach.
