Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team at Massage Addict Calgary Shawnessy. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality massage therapy services to clients, working closely with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records of treatments given.

Responsibilities
  • Consult with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for clients
  • Administer massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain and lower grade mobilizations
  • Assess clients by conducting range of motion and muscle tests and propose treatment plans
  • Explain procedures, risks and benefits to clients
  • Maintain records of treatments given
  • Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Manual dexterity
  • Physically demanding
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Standing for extended periods
Work Environment

Our clinic is a hospital/medical facility or clinic setting, providing a dynamic and fast-paced environment for our Massage Therapist to work in.
