About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Mortgage Business Development Specialist. As a key member of our Retail Banking Sales and Service team, you will play a critical role in cultivating and building relationships with a third-party network of referral sources to drive business growth and increase our share of the home financing market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and Pursue Sales Opportunities: Actively search for and pursue sales opportunities to achieve individual sales and profitability goals.
  • Develop and Execute Marketing Programs: Develop and execute effective marketing and sales programs to drive business results and increase our share of the home financing market.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with realtors, referral sources, and other stakeholders to generate referrals and drive business growth.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Serve as a customer advocate and provide exceptional customer service to build trust and drive customer loyalty.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements
  • 3-5 Years of Experience: Typically 3-5 years of relevant experience in a related field, such as mortgage lending, sales, or marketing.
  • Post-Secondary Degree: A post-secondary degree in a related field, such as business, finance, or marketing.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Sales Skills: Strong interpersonal and sales skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Mortgage Lending Process: In-depth knowledge of the mortgage lending process and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business goals.
