What is the opportunity?
In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional mortgage solutions and advice to clients, fostering strong relationships with internal and external partners, and driving business results through entrepreneurial sales style and motivation.
What will you do?
- Develop and cultivate local business opportunities, seeking out new customers through relationship building within the community and your centres of influence
- Build a loyal client base by providing customized mortgage advice and financial solutions
- Drive personal sales results while collaborating with RBC partners to anchor external business
- Provide advice and solutions to clients, meeting their individual needs
- Remain accessible and accommodate clients' preferences
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Proven sales success, ideally in financial services or real estate, with a minimum of 3 years of experience
- A solid network in your community, resulting in referrals, new clients, and increased business
- Ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships
- Strong relationships with internal partners
- Self-starter who works independently and seeks out answers
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking needs
Nice-to-have
- Previous experience as a mortgage lender
- Strong knowledge of the mortgage origination business and home financing products
- Excellent presentation and organizational skills
