At Ellement Consulting Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Controller to join our finance team. This role requires a professional with excellent accounting and reporting skills, as well as the ability to work with confidential and critical information.

The Corporate Controller will be responsible for maintaining the general ledgers and corporate financial statements for the Ellement group of companies. This includes performing corporate accounting, reporting, and banking functions, as well as supporting the development of financial and analytical reports.

The ideal candidate will have a CPA designation and 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting. They will also have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the general ledgers and corporate financial statements
  • Performing corporate accounting, reporting, and banking functions
  • Supporting the development of financial and analytical reports
  • Establishing financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards
  • Performing and maintaining monthly/quarterly invoicing to clients
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining financial controls and guidelines
  • Liaising with bank representatives and vendors as required
  • Handling preparation for tax returns, GST and other regulatory filings
  • Liaising with external auditors for Ellement and client trust funds
  • Providing accounting technical guidance to the finance team
