Clinical Nurse Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, providing exceptional care to patients in our Emergency department.
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing expert nursing care, leading the healthcare team, and facilitating patient care coordination and discharge.
You'll work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert nursing care to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs
- Leading the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care delivery
- Facilitating patient care coordination and discharge
- Developing and implementing nursing care plans to meet individual patient needs
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Recent, related experience as a Registered Nurse
- Current Emergency nursing experience
- A satisfactory employment record
- Graduation from an approved Registered Nursing education program
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize care for individual patients or groups of patients
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations
- Ability to maintain concentration with frequent interruptions
- Ability to function in a demanding and stressful environment
With a salary range of $46.710 to $57.299 per annum, you'll be rewarded for your expertise and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
