About this opportunity

Ericsson is seeking a skilled vDU System Designer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of our Cloud Native RAN solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop Cloud Native vDU solutions for our 5G RAN systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the implementation of Cloud Native based vDU
  • Participate in system studies for products and features, and drive continuous improvements of products, simulation tools, and processes
  • Develop simulation tools to test system performance of various L1/L2/L3 algorithms and benchmarking expected performance metrics
  • Work on 3GPP NR and ORAN standards protocols and advanced 5G features
Requirements
  • 7+ years' work in Wireless System architecture/standardization or Cloud Native product architecture/development
  • 5-7 year of work experience in functions related to NR DU or Radio systems
  • BSc or MSc level in Electrical/Computer Systems engineering or related
  • Experience with developing wireless system models and simulation tools for system performance evaluation of 5G RAN systems
  • Knowledge of Cloud Native core design principles desired
