Occupational Therapist Job Description

Lifemark is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with clients to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical and cognitive functioning
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' needs
  • Provide education and support to clients on topics such as safe body mechanics, cognitive behavioral strategies, and functional tolerance activities
  • Collaborate with the inter-professional team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy students and participate in case conferences
Requirements:
  • Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
  • Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
