NCSG Crane and Heavy Haul Services is seeking a skilled Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our maintenance team in Acheson, AB. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to learn and grow with our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and service of property, equipment, and vehicles. Key responsibilities include ensuring health and safety is the top priority, daily maintenance of equipment and vehicles, inspecting and evaluating operating conditions, and performing maintenance activities to keep the facility in good running order. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience working in a busy shop environment, inspecting and repairing cranes and heavy equipment. Experience working on cranes, specifically Liebherr crawlers, Grove, Linkbelt, and Tadano cranes, is also required. The successful candidate must be a member in good standing or willing to join Operating Engineers Local 995. The position will require support for other NCSG Branches in Western Canada as needed.
