Job Title: Welder

Swatch Truck Repairs Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing a variety of welding tasks, including operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, examining welds, and ensuring they meet standards and specifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal.
  • Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Requirements:
  • Criminal record check.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Physical demands include handling heavy loads, manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, sitting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Overtime may be required.
