Job Title: Welder

Swatch Truck Repairs Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure that welds meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet quality standards.
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Determine weldability of materials and start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in welding or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.

Swatch Truck Repairs Inc. is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. The successful candidate will be required to work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and working in a team setting.
