Bala, Canada Estate Manager Full time

We are seeking an experienced Estate Maintenance Specialist to join our team at a family-owned private estate. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and taking initiative in maintaining the estate's grounds and infrastructure.

This position offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in general contracting or skilled trades, as well as strong physical and technical abilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on estate facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and generators
  • Overseeing service requests from principals and Property Manager
  • Assisting with property upkeep, including lawn care, gardening, and equipment maintenance

In addition to these responsibilities, the Estate Maintenance Specialist will maintain organized records of property services and maintenance, review invoices for approval, and collaborate with the Property Manager to ensure smooth operations.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience in general contracting or skilled trades
  • Able to perform physical and technical tasks that require strength, coordination, and dexterity
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to work weekends
