At Transat, we're committed to providing exceptional travel experiences for our customers. To achieve this, we're seeking talented individuals to join our team as pilots.

Your Training Program

  • The Ascension Academy is a comprehensive training program designed for individuals with little to no flying experience. Our program is open to anyone, regardless of their professional or educational background.
  • We've partnered with CAE, a world-renowned pilot training organization, to develop a program that's tailored to our needs.
  • Upon successful completion of the program, you'll be hired by Air Transat and become a part of our team.
  • We've also established financing mechanisms with banking institutions to make this opportunity more accessible.

Phoenix Campus

  • The Ascension Academy program lasts approximately 18 months and takes place at CAE's facilities at Falcon Field airport in Phoenix, Arizona.
  • Our modern campus is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and technology, providing you with a world-class learning environment.

Once You're Hired

  • You'll operate our fleet of aircraft, including the A330 and A321, which are known for their fuel efficiency and cutting-edge technology.
  • You'll have the opportunity to fly to top international destinations, including Europe, the Caribbean, Central America, and the east and west coasts of the United States.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this program, you must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, have little to no previous flight experience, and meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old at the start of training
  • Have a completed high school diploma
  • Have English proficiency equivalent to ICAO level 4

Application Process

To apply, please submit your resume and a copy of your passport. You'll also need to provide a transcript of your most recent training program if you've pursued studies within the last 5 years.
