We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at 1359238 Ontario INC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the classification and rating of occupations, planning and developing recruitment strategies, and managing contracts and training programs.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Oversee the analysis of employee data and information to inform business decisions
- Develop and implement communication strategies to engage employees and stakeholders
- Manage payroll administration and oversee the preparation of reports
- Provide guidance and support to senior management on HR-related matters
- Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants to resolve employee questions and complaints
- Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a fair and respectful work environment
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a retail/wholesale establishment or distribution centre
- Strong knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Windows, and MS Word
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility, judgement, and organizational skills
- Permanent full-time position
- 40 hours per week
- English language
