We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Program Initiatives Analyst. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting large-scale projects to modernize cancer screening programs in Ontario.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in managing project working group meetings and activities
- Develop project deliverables, including project management artifacts such as project charters, detailed project plans, and other project control documentation
- Define scope and deliverables in coordination with the Manager/Team Leader/Project Manager
- Develop various products to execute on the program/project plan, support internal and external communication, reporting, and decision-making
- Lead the analysis of information to complete project deliverables, including researching various information sources, organizing and facilitating working sessions with key stakeholders, and facilitating formal reviews and approvals
- Identify project risks and issues, including the identification of options for resolution and recommended course of action
- Monitor adherence to project schedules, track and report on project progress, and provide forecasts of final delivery timelines
- Bachelor's degree in Health Science, Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Master's degree in one of the above disciplines is preferred
- Certificate in project management (CAPM or PMP) is an asset
- 2-4 years of related work experience is required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working on projects is preferred
- Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Experience conducting analysis in a project or operational setting
- Knowledge of project management methodology and standards
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge of MS Project is an asset
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and graphical communications skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Superior attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
