Job Title: Elementary School Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our team at Mountain View Christian Academy Society.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in a primary school setting, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Teach and mentor students in a primary school setting, promoting academic excellence and social growth
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure student success
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate
  • Experience working with students in a primary school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
