Job Summary

This is a key role within the client relationship team, responsible for developing sales and service solutions through regular client interactions. The successful candidate will provide direct support to RBC Private Banking Clients with all activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with new clients to outline how the Private Banking Associate role provides support to Private Bankers and delivers superior client experience to high net worth International Private Banking clients.
  • Act as primary contact for new and existing clients' needs, coordinating sales and fulfillment with product and service specialists.
  • Ensure problems are resolved to the client's satisfaction and advise the Private Banker of potential escalation/major issues.
  • Maximize opportunities with clients to enhance retention, revenue growth, and referrals.
  • Assist clients with requests, such as processing daily transactions, wire transfers, and daily term investment renewals in a timely manner.
  • Utilize technological knowledge to maintain data integrity, documenting all relevant client sales and service contacts and results.
  • Work as part of the International Private Banking Team, potentially based in Marine Gateway (South Vancouver) or Downtown Vancouver.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2-3 years retail banking experience.
  • Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Proven client service skills.
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Support from your Manager to apply to this role.
  • May be based out of the Marine Gateway (South Vancouver) or Downtown Vancouver Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of IFIC and/or CSC.
  • Post-secondary education in Commerce or Business Administration.
  • Basic understanding of investment fundamentals and thorough understanding of RBC products and services.
