Job Title: Administrative Support Specialist
Merilyn Catering Services Inc. is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff, including planning and organizing daily operations, establishing and implementing policies and procedures, and maintaining and managing digital databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to staff, including planning and organizing daily operations
- Establish and implement policies and procedures
- Maintain and manage digital databases, including Google Docs and MS Office
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory
- Greets people and direct them to contacts or service areas
- Perform data entry and provide customer service
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Reliability and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Google Docs and MS Office
- Knowledge of MS Windows and MS Word
- Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports persons with disabilities, newcomers and/or refugees, youths, Veterans, Indigenous people, and/or mature workers
