Heavy Equipment Operator

Join Snowman as a Heavy Equipment Operator and contribute to our seasonal outdoor projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as backhoe excavators, loaders, and Bobcats.
About the RoleThis is a seasonal opportunity that requires flexibility and a strong work ethic. You will work in various locations, outdoors, and be responsible for a range of tasks including operating equipment, cleaning and maintaining it, and completing logs.
Key Responsibilities- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and lubricate equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Complete onboard and other logs to track progress and maintenance
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Secure special attachments to equipment as needed
- Operate GPS navigation systems and two-way radios for communication
- Forklift Operator Certification
- Experience with operating heavy equipment, particularly backhoe excavators, loaders, and Bobcats
- Ability to work in fast-paced outdoor environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Competitive salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year (estimated)
