About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant RS&DE Expert to join our dynamic team of professionals in the field of research and development tax incentives at Visiativ. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and justifying research and development tax credit claims for our clients across Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop the structure of research and development tax credit claims in collaboration with clients and ABGi Mission Management.
  • Identify eligible expenses related to research and development activities and/or government incentives.
  • Prepare and submit research and development tax credit claims or government incentives to tax authorities in collaboration with clients and under the supervision of the project manager at ABGi.
  • Document claims using relevant forms and technical reports to support the work.
  • Assist clients in the audit process with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
  • Participate in international collaborations with other group subsidiaries (USA, UK, France, Brazil).
Requirements
  • Masters or higher degree in engineering, computer science, electronics, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • At least one to five years of experience as a consultant in research and development tax incentives within a professional services organization.
  • Knowledge of the research and development tax incentives program and other government incentives.
  • Ability to understand technological issues and express them clearly to value eligible elements under the research and development tax incentives program.
  • Previous professional experience in the field of computer science, games, electrical engineering, electronics, or mechanical engineering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
  • Ability to conduct technical interviews with specialists in various technological fields.
  • Excellent project management skills.
