About the Job

Societe Generale is seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Risk professional to join our team. As a key member of our Credit Portfolio Management Group, you will play a critical role in managing a portfolio of large US corporates and subsidiaries of non-US groups in diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive credit analyses and review legal documentation to assess credit quality and recommend credit limits, terms, and conditions.
  • Prepare financial projections and determine debt repayment capability, ensuring compliance with Societe Generale's credit policies.
  • Propose and update Obligor Risk Ratings, monitoring compliance with covenants.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, including business lines, bankers, legal and compliance, operations, and Risk department.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience as a credit analyst in a corporate and investment banking entity or related field.
  • Strong financial analytical skills, with ability to assess credit terms and conditions, including financial covenants, security, and collateral.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, with ability to prepare financial projections under various scenarios.
  • Strong understanding of commercial and investment banking products, with ability to analyze and evaluate counterparty risk and financial condition.
