Key Responsibilities- Deliver Health Education Programs: Develop and implement health education programs to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention among our residents.
- Manage Home Care Cases: Coordinate and manage home care cases to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide Consultative Services: Offer consultative services to residents, families, and healthcare professionals regarding issues relevant to nursing practice and the nursing profession.
- Provide Nursing Care: Provide direct nursing care to residents, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Supervise Nursing Staff: Supervise and mentor licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to established standards.
- Licensure: Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Experience: Experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a long-term care setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
