Outside Sales Representative Opportunity

Job Responsibilities:
  • Promote sales to existing clients and identify new business opportunities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions
  • Collaborate with the purchase department to develop sales plans and identify new business opportunities
  • Prepare and submit bids to meet customer requirements and obtain purchase orders
  • Prepare sales contracts and ensure timely submission
  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues
  • Provide feedback to the product and marketing departments to optimize content
  • Organize and submit sales reports and purchase orders in a timely manner
  • Travel to visit customers as needed
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in business or equivalent work experience
  • At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in a related industry
  • Experience in sales roles, such as car or machine dealership sales, is an asset
  • Knowledge of heavy machinery and aggregates is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage tasks and prioritize
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems is an asset
  • Bilingual in French is an asset
