About the Role

At 49th Parallel Coffee Roasters, we are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. As a key member of our production staff, you will be responsible for baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare dough and batters according to recipes or special customer orders
  • Requisition materials and supplies to maintain inventory levels
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to ensure quality products
  • Train staff members in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Prepare special orders and frost/decorate cakes and baked goods

Requirements

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Experience: Previous baking experience an asset
  • Skills and Qualifications: Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks
