About the Role
At 49th Parallel Coffee Roasters, we are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. As a key member of our production staff, you will be responsible for baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare dough and batters according to recipes or special customer orders
- Requisition materials and supplies to maintain inventory levels
- Bake mixed dough and batters to ensure quality products
- Train staff members in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Prepare special orders and frost/decorate cakes and baked goods
Requirements
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Experience: Previous baking experience an asset
- Skills and Qualifications: Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks
