Job Title: Legal Intern

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Intern to join our team at Ignite Talent Solutions. As a Legal Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on complex financial reorganizations, debt restructurings, and bankruptcy proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act on behalf of Monitors under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act and other stakeholders in dealing with financial reorganizations and debt restructurings.
  • Work on large transactions in various stages of bankruptcy proceedings, requiring an understanding of accounting and financial issues that affect restructuring transactions.
  • Collaborate with a team of experts to provide legal advice and support to clients in crisis management, debt collection, and insolvency.
  • Develop and implement strategies to resolve complex financial issues and achieve client goals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' post-call experience with demonstrated knowledge and expertise in Bankruptcy proceedings, court and privately appointed receiverships, crisis management, debt collection, and insolvency.
  • Strong legal acumen and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
