We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead small and medium-sized projects within our existing product lines, ensuring successful contract execution and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the overall technical, cost, and schedule requirements on assigned contracts, ensuring the company's resources are properly directed for satisfactory contract execution.
- Lead teams comprised of engineering, project engineering, project planners/cost estimators, QA/QC, and field operations at nuclear utilities.
- Provide effective leadership through communicating expectations and instilling accountability within the project team.
- Interface with customers to ensure that contract requirements are met, including cost/schedule reporting, multi-phase design reviews, and other engineering deliverables.
- Develop growth opportunities in Field Service business line and identify areas for improvement.
- Take corrective action as necessary to ensure compliance with technical specifications and schedule commitments.
- Develop proposals for Field Service projects and lead technical and commercial negotiations with customers.
- Coordinate subcontracting efforts to ensure that outsourced work scopes meet all technical requirements.
- Lead negotiation on routine contract changes and resolve any technical and/or commercial issues with customers and subcontractors.
- Act as the single point of contact for customer questions, technical issues, and reporting throughout all project phases.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 5-10 years of project management experience, preferably in the nuclear industry.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively lead teams and communicate expectations clearly.
- Experience in contract management and negotiation.
- Willingness to travel and work in the field as required, at remote customer sites, often for continuous durations of up to 3 months.
