About the Role
We're seeking a highly organized and efficient Operations Associate to join our team as a Stockroom Operations Specialist. As a key member of our stockroom team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining an organized and efficient stockroom to ensure excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Maximize company sales growth and profitability by maintaining the stockroom and sales floor, facilitating the flow of product to provide an engaging experience for every customer.
- Perform duties associated with receiving and processing trucks, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Safely process and assist with customer pick-up orders, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
- Safely operate and maintain all stockroom equipment and tools, keeping equipment in good working order.
- Assist Assistant Leaders in supporting financial and inventory accuracy, contributing to a data-driven decision-making environment.
- Perform general maintenance of the store, including lighting and other essential tasks.
- Maintain awareness of current products in all departments, staying up-to-date on new arrivals and promotions.
- Support and model excellent service by exhibiting a positive attitude and enthusiasm toward the job and company, communicating effectively with internal and external customers.
- Actively participate in weekly merchandising meetings, store meetings, and training sessions, driving continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully, and efficiently with all associates.
- Support an engaged customer experience by maintaining an organized and efficient stockroom, ensuring seamless transactions and satisfying customer needs.
- Assist and support the execution of the store's seasonal and weekly floor plans under the direction of the Assistant Store Leader, Visual and Team Leader, Visual.
- Maintain awareness and demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of computers, systems, and programs relevant to the position, participating in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems.
Requirements
- Stock, Distribution Center, or retail experience preferred.
- Good reading, written, and verbal language skills (English).
- Organizational and time management skills, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
What You'll Bring
- Ability to move and/or lift up to 65 pounds: heavier merchandise with team assistance.
- Full-time roles require open availability to work flexible hours on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
- Part-time roles require availability to work two or more weekend days (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) and at least one weekday or night.
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
