Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Roofing Foreman/Woman to join our team at Flynn Canada Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for supervising workers and projects, coordinating activities, and ensuring the successful completion of roofing and metal building assembly projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of roofers, apprentices, and labourers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Quality Control: Inspect work sites and materials to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Team Leadership: Train and mentor team members to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Communication: Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project progress.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare and submit reports, requisition materials and equipment, and perform other administrative duties as required.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 5 years or more of experience in roofing and metal building assembly, with a strong background in project management and team leadership.
- Skills: Excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, team player, and ability to work under pressure.
- Certifications/Licenses: Valid driver's license and any other relevant certifications or licenses.
