Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Roofing Foreman/Woman to join our team at Flynn Canada Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for supervising workers and projects, coordinating activities, and ensuring the successful completion of roofing and metal building assembly projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of roofers, apprentices, and labourers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Quality Control: Inspect work in progress and completed projects to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and safety.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed to their satisfaction.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all team members follow health and safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Estimating and Scheduling: Estimate costs and materials needed for projects and schedule activities to ensure timely completion.
- Recruitment and Training: Recruit and hire new team members and provide training and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 5 years or more of experience in roofing and metal building assembly.
- Language: English or French.
- Transportation: Valid driver's license.
