About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Provider to join our team at Steven Lam Yuk Tseung. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to infants and children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Education: Provide a safe and nurturing environment for infants and children, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Maintain a clean and organized home environment, including laundry, meal preparation, and light housekeeping duties.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for infants and children, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry, ironing, and pressing clothing and household linens.
  • Supervision and Care: Supervise and care for infants and children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and comfort to infants and children, helping them to develop social and emotional skills.
  • Homework Assistance: Assist children with homework and other educational activities, promoting their academic development.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, keeping them informed about their child's daily activities, meals, and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Home-based setting, with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
