Civil Foreman

Drake International is seeking a highly skilled Civil Foreman to lead a key role in the industrial fire protection industry. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organization dedicated to excellence and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the daily activities of the crew, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Collaborate with the Superintendent and General Foreman to determine the daily work activities.
- Delegate tasks to crew members and ensure the work is performed according to the approved scope.
- Assist in resolving design issues, change requests, and equipment problems.
- Monitor job progress and provide regular updates to the Superintendent.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure quality control testing is conducted.
- Provide coaching and training to crew members, offering feedback on performance and fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Requirements:
- Experienced with a minimum of 7 years in Civil Earthworks, with at least 3 years in an industrial environment.
- A solid understanding of construction trades, techniques, and safety practices.
- Strong leadership and delegation skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a crew.
- Detail-oriented, maintaining high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
- Capable of interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Committed to enforcing and adhering to corporate health and safety policies and procedures.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate with a continuous improvement mindset, streamlining work processes and providing quality service.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
