As a General Foreman at Chandos, you will play a key role in overseeing all field and site-specific construction activities. You will be responsible for managing budget, schedule, performance, and profitability of commercial construction projects while leading and inspiring the Chandos crew on-site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Superintendent in providing leadership and direction for project activities
  • Help identify and generate requests for information
  • Plan, organize, and manage all site construction manpower and materials
  • Complete required documentation, such as logbooks, safety records, and timesheets
  • Monitor productivities throughout the project life cycle and make necessary corrections
  • Manage subcontractor relationships to maintain timelines and scope of work
  • Promote sustainable construction practices and minimize environmental impact
Qualifications
  • Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter certification
  • Commercial and Civil construction experience
  • At least 2 years experience as a supervisor
  • Travel required
  • Able and willing to work out of town
