We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Brightshores. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care to patients in all clinical areas, including critical care and sleep lab.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their respiratory needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to departmental and corporate projects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory therapy techniques and best practices.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario.
- Recent inpatient acute/critical care experience.
- Ability to work in all aspects of Respiratory Therapy Services, including sleep lab.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work all shifts, including weekends and on-call.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent experience in a hospital setting, including critical care and neonatal nursery.
- Recent sleep lab experience.
