Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee retail operations, inventory management, team leadership, and facilities oversight

  • Collaborate with the Director on special and pilot projects when requested
  • Engage with customers, volunteers, employees, donors, and the wider community in a way that reflects MCC's mission and values
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant thrift or retail experience
  • Post-secondary education in business management or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years in a leadership role overseeing managers, supervisors, and volunteer coordination
  • Understanding of the second-hand merchandise market with the ability to assess the quality of clothing, housewares, and furniture
  • Proven track record of driving retail innovation and process improvements
  • Current First Aid Training Certification and Verbal Intervention Training Certification
