Chief Officer and Second-in-Command

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in the maritime industry? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Officer and Second-in-Command to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Commanding Officer in the overall management of the ship
  • Ensure the cleanliness and good order of the ship
  • Oversee the operations of the deck crew
  • Manage the use of cranes, winches, and trawls
Requirements:
  • Valid Health Canada Medical for seagoing personnel
  • Valid Canadian Passport
  • Experience as a Deckhand on a commercial fishing vessel
  • Experience operating cranes, winches, and trawls
  • Experience in shore-based Fleet/Shipboard Management positions
