Chief Officer and Second-in-Command

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in the maritime industry? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Officer and Second-in-Command to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Commanding Officer in the overall management of the vessel
  • Ensure the cleanliness and good order of the ship
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of deckhands and other crew members
  • Operate and maintain cranes, winches, and other deck equipment
  • Participate in emergency response and crisis management
Requirements:
  • Valid Health Canada Medical for seagoing personnel
  • Valid Canadian Passport
  • Experience as a Deckhand on a commercial fishing vessel
  • Experience operating cranes, winches, and trawls
  • Experience in shore-based Fleet/Shipboard Management positions
