Job Summary

Combined Metal Industries is seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of trucks and trailers to identify and repair or replace faulty components.
  • Maintenance and Servicing: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements, to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and repair complex mechanical issues.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Possess a valid trade certification in truck and transport mechanics, such as the Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification or the Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement.
