Job Title: Truck Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Combined Metal Industries. As a Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of truck-trailer systems, and performing scheduled maintenance service.

Work Environment

Our workshop is a fast-paced environment where you will work with a team of experienced technicians. You will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots and use tools to perform your duties.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust units to specifications
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Requirements
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
