Job Title: Truck Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Islington Nurseries Ltd. As a Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of commercial transport trucks, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Requirements:
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field
