About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst F/H Temps Plein to join our team at RBC. As a key member of our Data Shared Services team, you will play a critical role in documenting data lineage and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Document Data Lineage: You will be responsible for understanding and documenting the lineage of our data from its original source to the point of consumption, including any associated data transformations.
  2. Collaborate with Stakeholders: You will work closely with various business and IT stakeholders to understand and communicate details of data lineage, ensuring that our data is accurate and reliable.
  3. Develop Data Lineage Artifacts: You will leverage data lineage artifacts captured by other Data Management Offices and share artifacts captured by Risk Data Management Office to avoid duplication of effort.
  4. Optimize Data Lineage Capture: You will identify and communicate options to optimize the process of data lineage capture and documentation, ensuring that our data is up-to-date and accurate.
  5. Develop Knowledge and Skills: You will develop knowledge and become a valuable team resource, supporting the development of Data Lineage in general.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 2 Years Experience: You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in data management, data lineage capture, data analysis, or any other related data programs.
  2. Post-Secondary Education: You must have a post-secondary education or equivalent in Finance, Data Analysis, or other related programs.
  3. Technical Skills: You must have experience with data manipulation and analysis tools such as Datameer, SQL, and experience with data governance and metadata management tools such as Collibra.
  4. Communication Skills: You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technology staff at different levels of seniority.
