About the Opportunity

We are seeking experienced English writers to help train our generative artificial intelligence models. This is a remote, flexible freelance opportunity that allows you to work at your own pace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and evaluate English text to assess the quality of AI-generated responses
  • Write and rewrite prompts and responses, requiring research and fact-checking skills
  • Assess the factuality and relevance of text produced by AI models
Desirable Expertise
  • Professional writing or editing experience
  • Education in a writing-related field from a selective institution
  • Strong writing style, exceptional English language skills, and logic and reasoning abilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to explain the strengths and weaknesses of a given piece of text
Payment and Benefits

Our pay rates for core project work by English writing experts in the US average USD $15 per hour. Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project need, and other factors. We offer flexible payment terms and the opportunity to work on a variety of projects.

This is a 1099 contract opportunity on the Outlier.ai platform. You must be authorized to work in your country of residence. If you are an international student, you may be able to sign up for Outlier if you are on a visa.
