About the Opportunity:

Outlier is seeking experienced English writers to help train generative artificial intelligence models. This freelance opportunity is remote and offers flexible hours, allowing you to work at your convenience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and evaluate English text to assess the quality of AI-generated responses
  • Write and rewrite prompts and responses, requiring research and fact-checking skills
  • Assess the factuality and relevance of text produced by AI models

Desirable Expertise:

  • Professional writing or editing experience
  • Associate degree or higher in a writing-related field from a selective institution
  • Strong writing style, exceptional English-language skills, and logic and reasoning abilities
  • Attention to detail and clear communication skills

Compensation:

  • Pay rates for core project work average USD $15 per hour in the US
  • Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, and project need
