About the Role
The Director of Business Analytics & Insights will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives that enhance our sales performance and client engagement. By leveraging data-driven insights, this individual will lead a talented analytics team to deliver impactful solutions that align with our company's goals and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of business analytics professionals to deliver high-quality insights and actionable recommendations to our sales & distribution team.
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with sales leadership to understand the unique dynamics of wholesales/advisor relationships, using data to guide sales strategies that enhance effectiveness and client retention.
- Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the organization to ensure alignment and collaboration on business objectives.
- Communication Skills: Present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and other key stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner, translating complex data into actionable reports and strategic plans.
- Performance Management: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and relevant metrics to measure behavior, engagement, and sales activities.
- Data Democratization: Drive the adoption of analytics tools that enhance data accessibility, visualization, and reporting, ensuring that relevant data is available to key stakeholders for informed decision-making.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the analytics function.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in business analytics and business intelligence within a B2B environment, ideally in financial services or asset management.
- Technical degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), statistical software (e.g., Python), and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce); with a strong working knowledge and understanding of SQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and modern data architectures.
- Exceptional leadership and people management abilities, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of conveying complex data and insights to executive teams and sales leaders.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
Hybrid Work Environment
We operate in a hybrid work environment, offering flexibility for employees to work remotely and in the office. As part of this arrangement, all employees are required to be present in the office three days per week.
