About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping team at The Oak Hotel and Suites. As a Hotel Cleaning Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators, and handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers, and address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced hotel environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Experience an asset or equivalent experience
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
