About the Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled Mandarin Director to join our team at Pacific Smoke International. As a senior marketing leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business strategy that supports the company's growth objectives, brand positioning, and product innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Strategy & P&L Ownership: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive business strategy that supports the company's growth objectives, brand positioning, and product innovation.
  2. Brand Development & Management: Define and enhance the brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing touchpoints. Manage brand architecture, messaging, and creative assets that resonate with target audiences and distinguish the company in the marketplace.
  3. Campaign Planning & Execution: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, retail, events, and traditional media. Ensure timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  4. Digital & Social Media Marketing: Guide and manage digital marketing strategies, including website content, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC), and social media initiatives to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  5. Market Research & Consumer Insights: Conduct and leverage market research and consumer insights to identify trends, behaviors, and opportunities that inform marketing strategies. Stay informed on competitor activities and market changes.
  6. Partnership & Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales team, product development, supply chain team, finance team, and external agencies to align marketing initiatives with business goals. Develop partnerships with key influencers, retailers, and distributors to amplify the brand's reach.
  7. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all marketing activities comply with relevant local, national, and international regulations, particularly regarding the advertising and promotion of vape products. Work closely with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risk.
  8. Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing the ROI of marketing investments.
  9. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team. Foster a creative and collaborative environment, promoting continuous learning and development.
  10. Performance Measurement & Reporting: Set KPIs and monitor the performance of marketing initiatives through data analytics and reporting. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize marketing activities and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 10+ years in marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, ideally in the vape, tobacco, alcohol, or FMCG industries.
  2. Proven track record of building and scaling brands through innovative marketing strategies.
  3. Experience with B2C and B2B marketing, including digital, retail, and trade marketing channels.
  4. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  5. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  6. Exceptional strategic thinking and business acumen, with a hands-on approach to execution.
  7. Deep understanding of digital marketing, including paid media, SEO/SEM, content marketing, and analytics.
  8. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  9. Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  10. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  11. Strong knowledge of the vape industry or a closely related sector, including market trends, customer behaviors, and regulatory landscapes.
  12. Familiarity with marketing tools such as CRM systems, analytics platforms, and project management tools.
  13. Must Speak Mandarin
  14. Must be able to travel to China several times a year
